Sweet Dreams are Made of These...

Alright, so I posted this as a response to another person's post about nightmares. But then I thought, wait, free blog content -- so...

I remember being killed twice in my dreams last night.

Dream #1:
First a bunch of us were hanging out in a park and tossing a football around. Then someone threw it at this huge rotten tree with warning signs all over it to stay away. It caused a huge nest of giant bees or hornets to buzz out. We all started to run, but they went after me. I remember being covered in crawly bees that were the size of those Japanese hornets and they were stinging me everywhere. Then everything went black and I woke up.

Dream #2:
Later, I dreamt I was living in some weird Star Wars-type place. I was part of a group of guards that was walking with the Emperor. Only the Emperor was Alec Baldwin and he wore a red cape, no shirt, and this weird bondagesque black leather strap outfit. His face was painted half red (like Two-Face) and he wore a Vader-like shiny red helmet. Others in our group were briefing him on meeting Darth Vader.

We got into an elevator and went up a few floors, the doors opened into another elevator where Darth Vader and another group of guards and people were. Before anyone could say anything, someone from our group pushed through and shot Vader twice. Before he was subdued, the gun was pointed straight at me and he pulled the trigger once more. I recall distinctly seeing the rifled barrel before I was hit with what felt like a sledgehammer to the face before going black again.

Okay dream doctors: what's it mean?

(btw - I don't believe in dream huey, I simply think it means I've an active imagination.) ;)

I think it's fairly obvious that you secretly believe that Alec Baldwin is your long-lost brother, but this worries you, because that means that Billy Baldwin is also your brother. Don't worry - Alec has to wake up with this knowledge every day. He'll help you cope.

An astute observation. ;) I don't think I'd want to be related to any of the Baldwins. Unless of course, we're talking about a large trust-fund.

That would sweeten the deal, wouldn't it!

That Baldwin shop is full of WIN.

I am rather proud of that, (as disturbing as it is.)

It doesn't trump the Stargate, but it's impressive nonetheless.

Let's just say there's a good reason the image is cropped just above the crotch. My hunt for suitable imagery to "shop" gave my way more than I asked for. o_0

According to The Dream Doctor...

Bees = "Is something bugging you? Dreams of swarming bees reflect feelings of persistent annoyance and bother. Fears of being stung reflect feelings that one likely will be 'injured emotionally' in a relationship. Are you trying to avoid bad news?"

Death = "Consistent symbol for change and separation in dreams. Dreaming of one's own death symbolizes an inner metamorphosis and an evolution of development. Old ways of perceiving are passing away; new self-discoveries are being made. The dream is a symbol of transition."

Okay, the "doctor" speaks... :)

I can't think of any buzzing news that I'm waiting to hear about. What struck me as intriguing was that I could feel the venom seeping into my veins as I blacked out. Not to mention the unbelievable amount of pain from all the bites!

So with death then -- I'm turning into a butterfly? lol, Like Ralph Wiggums says, "When I grow up, I'm going to be a principal or a caterpillar."
