Another Year...

Boy - it's been a while again, hasn't it. This time I won't apologize, though, it is my damn blog anyway, right?

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Mine was spent with the in-laws with much merriment and eating. And a very comfortable New Year's Eve with friends at home. Tip - champagne freezes, so don't put it in the freezer. (It was a good chuckle however, watching the champagne logs emerge from the bottle.)

A lot has happened at the end of the year. It's funny how each December 31st feels like the closing of a book. It is just another day after all. Since last real correspondence, I've been maneuvering into better life positions. Let me dispel the rumors...

There's this new someone in my life. (Well - this is probably obvious to those who have been hanging around here lately, but there it is in bold print.) Unfortunately, this caused a bit of a jealous rift with someone else. I'm not complaining at all. In fact, I'm quite happy to be done with the whole deal. But I'm no longer living in the lush condo-life either. I find that the lack of stress by not being there anymore is incredibly relaxing. (Now if only the debt-monkey would get off my back.)

So it's quite a new year for me, I guess. A definitive chance to improve my situation. My new lifestyle does not include so much bar hopping or nite-life anymore in favor of staying home with my piano, DVD collection and girlfriend. This of course helps the wallet and allows me to generally get to work on time and be more productive. But it also means there won't be so many new albums as before. At least not in the same vein anyway. (Don't worry - there's still lots of things and events to capture with the camera.) All in all - this is all a step in the right direction. Look out - I may be turning into a "real" adult.

Anyway - I am looking for a nice (ie, not with 1920's appliances) studio apartment soon, so if you know of a deal, hook me up. Otherwise, feel free to send me money in plain unmarked envelopes. Anonymous donations are absolutely fine. :)

Mom would be proud. Haha, just kidding. Good job man.
