Updating is going smoothly, thus far...

Well - now the old blog entries and all of the comments have been re-installed into the site. That was nearly 8 hours of data entry folks. My fingers are sore. But it's done. (What's the Cable Guy say?... "Get 'er done!")

Things yet to do include updating the stories that went along with all the photo albums, putting the pic captions back in (so they're search-able), rebuilding a guestbook and some more minor fixes to the layout-look-feel of the site.

What do you think of the new background-look?

Then in the future, I'll re-enlist the DVD pages, the chior (PPCC) site and the lyrics pages. The data is there, but these will require major, and I mean REALLY BIG, overhauls in the way they were presented. I may even eventually re-open the LEGO models page. Haven't decided on that yet. It is all alot of work, you know. Most of this I'm making work for itself, though. Like my new DVD database software, which can spit out direct SQL database tables and then the site will eventually automagically update itself with no help from me. That's the goal anyway. This will happen as I learn more about php scripting and how phpNUKE works.

So far, so good. :)
